Asst GOVERNOR
Assistant District Governor North
SANDY MYRANTS
Sandy is a welcome visitor to our club. Her visit coincided with our ‘General Assembly’, when club Chairmen give their reports of committee work done and tell of what the future plans are.
An outstanding report was delivered by PP. Michelle Adeyinka , chairperson of the ‘Foundation Committee’ which focussed on our District and club being part of the The Rotary Foundation Future Vision Plan.
Michelle’s report stated that: For the 2009-2010 Rotary Year, Hendon Rotary Club will:
1. Seek to support London District in developing the Future Vision Plan, for the benefit of all.
2. Participate in and complete the mandatory training in 2009-10 for Foundation committee chairs and feedback information to the Club on key developments and decisions.
3. Explore opportunities to access the new Foundation grants to support our local and international priorities; and to develop new links with local and international clubs.
4. Continue to meet our financial contribution to the work of District Foundation.
5. Seek to actively engage Group Study Exchange (GSE) members and Ambassadorial Scholars to visit our club and share their experience with us.
6. Invite the District Foundation Chair to at least one Club meeting to provide an update on the work of Foundation.
7. Strengthen our relationship with District Foundation and support other areas of work where possible.
